I don't know of an easy way to get this.

You are at a university, so I would guess that it has a computer science
department.  Ask a computer science professor at the university to make
this an exercise for the class - or just ask for a volunteer to do the
conversion for you.

Since the Legacy data is in an Access database, the data can be extracted
using Access (or the database in OpenOffice).  Some of the database format
has been published in this forum, so that information is available.

The comp sci department at the university I graduated from was always
looking for sample projects from the real world - that might be also the
case where you are.
