There isn't a program available that will make every sort of tree chart
imaginable and I cannot think of a program that can create the type of chart
that you want at a click of the mouse..
Every program has it's capabilities as regards designing trees, we have
around 20 different genie programs and sometimes we have to use more than
one program to design a particular type of tree to the customers needs.
To design the tree and show only the people that you want we would use one
program to create an hourglass tree for one of the married partners, say the
male, this would show all their ancestors and descendants, then export these
people out of the file, the next step would be to create an ancestor tree
only for the other female partner.
You now have 2 files that contain only the people that you want to appear on
the tree. Merge those 2 files together and use a program that will generate
an All in One or Everyone tree, this type of tree shows everybody in the
file and the resulting tree will contain only all those people that you ask
for.
