Mary Beth, I saw this question before and I don't think either program can do this on one chart, at least if they can I cannot think of a way of doing it!
You would be able to do it in Legacy Tree Legacy by combining trees - which is how I do it when needed Ron Ferguson _____________________________________________________________________ For Genealogy, Software and Social visit: http://www.fergys.co.uk New Blog: Open Legacy Family File with Open Office View the Grimshaw Family Tree at: http://www.fergys.co.uk/Grimshaw/ For The Fergusons of N.W. I've really gotten confused by the marrying back and forth in this family and a graphic such as a chart would certainly help me to see it. Does it need more clarification? His second wife had a son named John F. with her first husband. Margaret and John F. got married. They don't have a common ancestor. Is there a graphic way of showing this complicated relationship? A chart that would show Joseph Barnett with both of his wifes and his children with both of them and his second wife with both of her husbands (she had two) and their children.
