Mike, It is real, I can assure you. What the cause is I don't know, but it only happens when the program is left inactive but running for long periods of time. It may possibly be linked to the PC being low on memory but I really do not know.

I will assume that you've kept up with updates, but I'd still suggest that you consider re-downloading the latest release. Sometimes that has a way of 'cleaning up' strange problems. Tonight, though, there was an issue, so -- After the program is running for awhile, if I click on a name, when the individual view comes up, there's no data in it. If I just "cancel" out, close the program (backup stalls, so I don't try to do that anymore), and reopen it, everything's fine. But tonight it happened and I lost the personal information for the individual. He was listed as "unknown" and his birth, death and burial info was gone. The events and sourced were still there, though. Since this happens pretty much every day I use it (because I just start everything up in the morning and shut it down at night -- so it runs all day), with all the computers I've used, it's just something I've gotten used to. But now that I have lost data, I'd like to know how to avoid it happening again. Is the solution just to not leave it running so long?
