If you go to Help and in the Index, put Event, you will see the listing for Narrative Formatting, this will then tell you what and how to do it.

OR

go to Reports - Books and Others - Descendant Narrative - Options - Event Narrative Format - then make one of the selections there.

There is "no" "Event Narrative Format".  This is what I see:

Event Format

Use Event sentence formatting
     Number each event
     Use bullet points
    No numbers or bullets

Use list style formatting

Not sure why mine does not have what yours does.  I have the latest "build"
