One has to wonder - How do you map items in the address list?
If the address is in the "Master" location list it is possible to map right
to the house, farm, cemetary or whatever.

Phil,

They're obviously obsessed with the mapping feature and too easily led by
the "experts" who think the program's user manual and the instructions if
provides are superfluous.

The MASTER LOCATION LIST is just that, a MASTER list. In the same way that
the MASTER SOURCE LIST is a MASTER list.
Legacy designed it so that it lists town, county, state, country. And
obviously, originally for USA locations. (Those of us with ancestors and
descendants from other parts of the world have to make a modification to the
way the data is entered)

It is designed to give an overview of the area our ancestors lived

The EVENT address list is for the detail in the same way the SOURCE detail
is designed.

Street numbers and addresses should be put in this list.
You wouldn't enter the address, date and all other details in the birth date
column, but use the appropriate place that the program has supplied. Why try
to add other details in the wrong place?

As has been reported many times – this causes problems
