Hi Margaret
As I don't worry about initial entry and modification dates within the file,
Sherry's solution fixed my problem. I suggest that you contact her to see if
you can retain these dates somehow.
I had your problem of the correct field being highlighted in the Child
Status window but with no text for a child that had been entered as a twin.

Hi Judy,
I exported to a new family file and that works great for the Master
List issue, but exporting caused all initial entry and modification
dates within the file to be set to today's date, and I really don't
want to lose that trail.
If I right-click a child in Family View that has a child status of
"Twin" and then click the down-arrow on the Child Status drop-down box
for that Twin, the Master Child Status List is displayed. The list is
still empty, but this time the grid is displayed, albeit with no data.
If I click on one of the blank entries, I get the following error
message:
"True DBGrid 6 Data access error ".
What to do when Grids go bad? I remember in an earlier release of
Clooz 2.0, data disappearing from the grid was a common problem; I
believe restarting Clooz fixed it. I've cold started my PC, and it
doesn't help.
Thanks,
Margaret

Hi Margaret
I had the same problem . I had tried Check/Repair. This is the answer
Sherry
(Legacy Support sent).
Export to a new Family File. File > Export to... > Legacy file.
Reinstalling the program won't help - the master lists are in the main
Family File.
and when I confirmed that it worked she sent
Great! I don't know why resetting them in the Master List Cleanup didn't
help but at least you have them back now! I tested it a couple of times
by
deleting default Child Statuses and they were always replaced.

When I go to View -> Master Lists -> Child Status..., the Master Child
Status List screen contains no entries. I've tried Check/Repair, and
importing defaults, but the list is still blank. Using Access, I
checked tblCS, and all the entries are in the table, they just aren't
being displayed on the screen. All my other Master Lists are ok, and
I'm using version 7.0.0.55.
Thanks,
Margaret
