Paul,

Have you tried doing a File>File Maintenance a few times straight after each
other? Also shutting down your PC overnight sometimes helps to overcome the
problem (you may do this already but if you are like me then you don't).

#91)

Thanks to Mike & Ron for your replies.

I am running XP SP3 and have tried the solution given, however the update is
unnecessary as I have SP3 installed.

L7 will start OK but the problem occurs when trying to open any .fdb file.

I have uninstalled & reinstalled L7 on several occasions but still no joy.

Any more ideas anyone?

Paul

Paul,

You do not say which o/s, if you are using Vista then the update Jet-pack bit
should not apply. If you go to the Legacy Home Tab (in your program) at the top
right you will see an Options tab, you can use this to stop Legacy trying to go
on-line unless you specifically give it permission
