But that is not how Americans (IMHO) do it. We do the months for the first year, and become one year old on the 365/366 date, and are called one year old from that date until the 730/731 day. So the program uses this plan. It might be a future fix that whichever language/dialect you use, also picks the date standard used by the majority of that group, but I for one became aware of this situation when reading letters and books originating in the other areas, that seemed to be counting ages 'wrong'. This is a cultural thing, and it will be incorrect for 1/2 the world, even if switched to the other. Rich in LA CA
