Jane,

I suggest that you need to contact Sherry at support direct, attaching a copy
of your .fdb file. I do not think that you can sort this out.

> for many many entries

> Legacy 6 deluxe produces a 3265 error each time I run Check/Repair. This
> hang up is in step 103 or 104 of the 143 steps in the Check/Repair.
> The maintenance log reveals
> "1910 Child Status Records referred to that do not exist"
> We have added a new Child Status '!Fix this Child Status - 1' and the
> following records now point to this new temporary status. From the Master
> Child Status list you can edit this record and change it to the correct
> value.
>
> There are no records listed following this statemant.
> I added another child to check, and sure enough, I'm up to 1911 Child
> Status Records referred to that do not exist.
>
> For error 3265 I did delete the .DMB files, downloaded and installed ver 6
> again (did not uninstall 6 as it was indicated installing again would just
> fill in those missing files), and rebooted my computer from a cold start
> before looking at Legacy again.
> I believe this child status error is coming from the fact that I don't have
> a "BLANK LINE" child status.
> Under options in this Master list, I tried importing defaults
> (successfully), importing the child status list from the sample file
> (successfully), but cannot get that first line of the list to show a blank
> record.
> I looked at the Child-Parent Relationship list and that list does have the
> first line blank. If I try to edit that line, I get a message that it is a
> blank record used by Legacy.
> I'm guessing Legacy uses this Blank Record Line with every child entry. The
> fact that mine is now missing and every child I entered since -well, a long
> time ago is missing this Child Status of blank status and triggering an
> error in my Check/Repair log.
> Any suggestions as to the 'correct value' referred to in my maintenance log
> referred to above?
> Any suggestions as to importing a valid Child Status List that has that
> blank record line? (I did try saving a 'blank' but that was not allowed.)
> Obviously, my last Check/Repair was run 1911 child entries ago.
