Ann,
 
Minor variations in your zip files are nothing to worry about. All the zip file 
is is a compressed file containing your data. It is not unusual to get small 
variations in the amount of compression and hence the number of KBs.
 
You can copy a zip file from one form of drive to another in the same way as 
you can with any other file.
