I remember your posting last summer about receiving error 91 and Millennia reply that they could not reproduce it. Since so many of us are getting error 91 perhaps it isn't we users. I agree Millennia can't fix what they cannot reproduce, kind of a Catch 22.

Ken suggested doing normal backup to the hard drive then copying the .zip file to a flash drive. Since I keep getting various amounts of KB's I am concerned how good the zip file might be. I have over 30 years of work depending on Legacy so I try to cover all my bases. I back up to my C drive, to an external Maxtor hard drive, to a flash drive and restore it on a different computer.

Ann,
If you're having this much difficulty using Legacy to backup your data, then there's really no reason to continue to do so.

All Legacy is doing is creating a STANDARD ZIP file that contains your database and a few other odds and sods. You can use any, freely available ZIP utility program to achieve exactly the same thing. And, even by the smallest chance, Legacy is unable to restore from a ZIP file not created by itself, you can always UNZIP the file and then copy the files into your \Legacy\Data folder.
