I'm using "Reports" in the menu bar, NOT the Reports on the Toolbar. I've
also tried going to the Publication Center under "Reports" in the menu bar . .
. and I thought it was taking me the same place, just saving me a "click"on
my computer.

Not sure which "settings" you are asking for?

The problem does show in preview, and I don't know until I have someone
check the computer in my office. I'm disabled with Multiple Sclerosis, so
currently in bed with my trusty laptop and network (which just got fixed
yesterday,
so I'm back online), and I cannot tell til Monday what has printed out!!!

I haven't made any .pdf's for a few days. Should I?

I very much doubt if anyone knows how you got it there in the first place.

So, Are you using reports - if so which one?
Or are you using the Publication Centre?
For whichever you are using what are what are your settings?
If the Publication Centre then which chapters?
Does the problem arise in the Preview?
Or are you sending it to PDF, rtf, Word, Open Office or what?

Please try and help us to help you, by giving us information to work from
(and you are not alone btw).
