Thank you, Ronald and Dennis, for your help and the Ances.usr file information.

I wandered away from the computer for a while, usually the best solution for me 
when a bad
computer day happens, and bound the first book. By the time I got back and 
tried to print
another Ancestor Book, Legacy had decided to behave and there were no problems 
after that,
even without having to delete the Ances.usr file.

However I've locked both your messages in case this happens in future when I'm 
pressed for
time. Many thanks for your help.
