Hi All, I had this error happen to me today, and don't see it on the online list.
Error in TrickGroup(163) routine. Error 75: Path/File access error Would you like to TRY IT AGAIN? Now, I checked the online list and found solutions for error 75, but not one that specifically addressed my problem. 1. Error 75: Path/File access error (not Windows Vista) ***I am running on Vista Home Edition so does not apply*** 2. Windows Vista and Error 75: Path/File access error - If you installed Legacy to the Program Files directory on a Windows Vista computer, you must uninstall the program and then re-install it to the default C:\Legacy\ location. Make sure the User Account Control is turned on. ***Well, my Legacy is installed in the default C:\Legacy location and User Account Control is turned on.*** Hmmm. I ran check/repair twice and it would not complete. Corrupt database/not recognizable database errors. Shut down Legacy and started again, ran check/repair a third time and it completed. What started it? I used relationship calculator. I did one and it worked just fine. Went to do a second and got the error. I am using the the latest registered Deluxe version 7.0.0.9.0. Running Vista Home Edition, all updates. I've been using Legacy since v.5 and have not run across TrickGroup error before. Individuals 42698 Families: 14204 Sources: 1333 Is there something I should do aside from what I have already done? Is there any thought as to what caused this error?
