You can get to Master Location List either of two ways.

Easiest: Click Locations on the toolbar.
Second: Click Master on the toolbar, click on Location....

When you print the List you get just that - a list of the long names and the
coordinates, if entered. It will be sorted as you have the list sorted.
A Report gives you options of what to include, etc.

  I really appreciate your help.

When I go to "Reports" then "All reports" then I see "Location Report", where
do I find "Master Location Report"

When you go to Cite a Master Source, you are in the Master Source List, not
the Master Location List. The Master Source List has combine and purge
options, but they affect sources, not the locations.

To purge unused or combine duplicate Locations, go to Master Location
List>Options. There you have the choice to Delete, Tag, Untag, Combine
Duplicates, Purge Unused..., et alia.

Choose the option you want. Afterward, a new Report should be correct.

The location report actually lists ""This location is not used anywhere"
but will not "combine duplicates" or "purge unused"

Are there unused sources that show up on the Location Report, or just
locations that look like duplicates that didn't get combined?

The latter often occurs with the simplest of differences, such as an extra
space, a period instead of a comma (or vice-versa). I have found both those
particular problems. I had entered locations without checking if I already had
them. When I enlarged the size and looked very closely, there were my teeny
errors. But it did mean the locations actually were not the same.

The locations will also not be duplicates if the short locations are not
identical too. Sometimes the errors were that my short locations were off even
though the long ones were duplicates.

When I do a "Location Report" I am having difficulties. I used to go to
"Site a Master source" and then to options and then to "combine duplicates" and
"purge unused" but now that does not work. It says there are none even though I
see them when I do a print preview. Any ideas, please.
