The error in the software is that it inserts the word "unknown" in the marriage list even if the option to use "Word for Blank Records" is set to "(Just leave it blank)". This was not the case in earlier versions of the software. The only way to distinguish a blank "unknown" from an actual record with the name "unknown" is that an actual record has a RIN and a marriage record without a link to a spouse record will show "unknown" without a RIN. Past versions of the program showed the spouse name as a blank when there was no RIN linked.
