You will probably want to add a couple of criteria to limit the records in
the list, e.g. for the 1930 census you would want: Individual, death date,
equal, blank OR Individual, death date, after, 1929

Pat,

OK, I found the post -- it was the December 2006 issue: "How to create a
list of "ancestors with no sources"

http://legacynews.typepad.com/legacy_news/2006/12/index.html

Basically, follow these steps but change the "Sources" to Events.

Pat,

You have to "reverse engineer" this. A sample was also shown in one of the
Legacy news articles. Heres the gist of it:

1. Do a search for all individuals with a "census" event and then tag them
with a number; let's say 9.
2. Next, search for ALL Individuals with Tag 9 = untagged.

Is there a way that I can search for those persons who need Census events?
For example:
1) All persons who might appear in the 1930 Federal Census

Thanks,
Pat
