Millennia markets Legacy as suitable for both genealogy and family
history. And it's not as though people in this thread are requesting a
new feature in the program (such as witnesses or Unicode), which may or
may not ever happen. People here are requesting the fixing of an
existing bug. Same sex marriages have been legal in other countries for
many years before they were legal in the United States. Since Millennia
markets Legacy as suitable for world-wide use, the inability to create
legal marriages cannot be considered anything but a major bug in the
database structure that has existed for very many years. It should have
been fixed long ago, and when it comes to bugs, we deserve much more
specific answers than when it comes to possible new features.

existing program, no call for it in Geneology and there are plenty of
ways to handle it for Family History.
