Why do you think you have version 6 installed? If you have, yes it could well 
create havoc. You cannot just delete it though, it has to be uninstalled, 
otherwise your register will be a complete mess.
 
If you opened Location.usr in Notepad and are saying you have Legacy 6 because 
that is version given on the first line, then that is not the case - so does 
mine! It probably refers to the version when it was first created.
 
In a previous post I did (as did Valerie) suggest that you uninstall the lot 
and reinstall from the web. I also added that I would advise deleting 
everything in the Legacy folder except the Data folder and its contents.
 
You can delete any usr file you wish, you will only lose the settings.
