As a basic procedure, I make either a Copy or a Backup of Legacy files
into another folder any time I am restoring a backup, importing a file, etc.
Safety first! You never know what might go wrong.

your flash  drive and then downloading to your desktop. It works for me
but I am  nervous about overwriting all the time. Any other suggestions
other than  updating both copies of Legacy on each  machine?
