How many pictures? Are the photos taking a major % of your harddrive? As I
killed my computers over the years, the new one (installing a restore) was
always obviously faster than the old one. Technology.

Hi,
Would adding links to photos cause a slowing operation.  Swapping from one
person to their father or to a child used to be almost instantaneous, but now I
am sometimes waiting for up to 10 seconds for the change. Not on all changes
though, it's only happening with a few random persons, not necessarily with
photos attached to them.
I've only noticed this slowdown since adding links to photos in My Pictures
folder.
