I should think that GEDCOM files and the uploading of files to Ancestry.com from within Legacy would be considered "ON-TOPIC" given the fact that there is a specific menu item in Legacy called "Upload to Ancestry Online Family Tree". I can understand wandering too far from those general parameters and getting bogged down in a detailed discussion about Ancestry.com.
