It is quite easy to do with this free program; GEDxlate from http://www.gedmagic.com/GEDxlate.htm You export a Gedcom, run it through GEDxlate and you can create an Excel sheet which you can sort on any column you desire. It makes a great companion for Legacy allowing operations not available in Legacy. If you do not have Excel you can download and use OpenOffice.Org's suite for free and it will open these files. You, of course, would then have to create your html to suit your needs. Legacy can not be all things for all people or it would cease to be a viable program, over-bloated and super slow. We must learn to use available alternatives for those "Special" needs. -- Gene Young Researching Young, Harer, Cox & Sallada With Legacy Family Tree Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
