I was wondering how to Cite and duplicate Source Detail. For instance, Census records. I have an individual listed in a Census.
For the "Census" event I create a Master Source for the Census itself, the Source Detail would have the page #, Dwelling #, family #, etc and a picture of the Census page in the Multimedia section. Now the Census also contains spouse, occupation, residence, birth, immigration, etc which I will create separate events for. I want to cite a source for all these events and would point to the Census Master Source. But then I need to also cite Source Detail for each of these events. The Detail is identical to the original created for the first Source. Do I need to duplicate the Source Detail for each event again? (I know I can "copy" the data for the text but the picture would be a problem.) or is there some way to point to the Source Detail in the same way I point to the Master Source? or is there a "better" way to do what I am asking? Thanks for the help.
