Paula,

I use surname file folders.  When I file the census based on head of
household for that family.  If there are two family members on the page, I
make a copy to put into that family's folder.  The reason I do this, is so I
can "see" everything that I have on that family.  I only keep the file/hard
copy in the folders, and do not link them to the software.  I haven't
completely decided on my file organization and do not want to re-link if I
decide to move a file to another folder.
