Bob, I have never used Ancestral Quest and cannot compare the problems that may, or may not, be associated with an import from Ancestral Quest, however, I can definitely say that I imported genealogical databases from another Genealogical Program, that was not very compatible with Legacy Family Tree and do not know of any data that I have lost. Yes, there are General Notes, Research Notes, and Medical Notes sections for each individual. I must say that Legacy is the best, and easiest to use Genealogical program that I have used. If you do buy, try and get the Deluxe Addition.
Perhaps there are others in the LUG that are much more knowledgeable about Ancestral Quest than myself. One more suggestion if I may, many people on the LUG will not respond to an email formatted in HTML, so please format your emails in Plain Text if you want to get the greatest response from members in the LUG. I am presently using Ancestral Quest 12.1.30 and am wodering if I can import my entire file to Legacy? 2. Is there a note section in Legacy. All my information is stored in Notes in Ancestral Quest. 3. Is there an undo option in notes? Thanks in advance.
