Select the row that lists the default location and click "Combine the highlighted path with another one in the list...". Then select the top row in the list (which should be blank) and click "Highlight the Destination, then Click this Button". Now go back to the Picture Center and check to see if your problem has been fixed. These instructions are for V6. Don't ask me what causes this or why the list of multimedia locations works this way.
