That's the feeling that I'm getting - that there flaws that go unresolved.  The 
new book sounds good but I expect a lot of things that I'm not interested in 
and what I am interested in may not be there, the same problem I have in Help 
(which disappeared for a while)!  Those pdf's don't answer questions; I would 
rather just have Geoff by my side instead of the pdf :-)

It seems a shame that when a problem and an apparent cause is reported it 
should go uncorrected for years.  We all enjoy new feature introductions, but I 
think it’s equally important that the basic system work properly.
