Not really. Dropbox is fine so long as you don't try and edit what it happens to be working with at the same time. Store your FDB files in one place, create backups in the Dropbox folder. From my experience, this scenario doesn't cause any problems. Also, remember that from Vista onwards, Windows tends to create ZIP files i.e. backups, as folders. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
