Dennis, I would agree that it should, however I have seen reports (Graham? Seaver) which have shown that an export to a GEDCOM and an import back into Legacy will not return the source in a Source Writer format. I have also tested this myself to confirm.

Software developers have the option of exporting non-standard GEDCOM tags (Legacy does this today for other things). As long as the GEDCOM is going from Legacy back to Legacy, this should have worked.
