Easier? I use Rhode Island Colony in English Colonial America. Not accurate but understandable. At the time, place names were not as specific.Rich in LA CA

New To: LegacyUserGroup@LegacyUsers.com Date: Tuesday, December 13, 2011, 4:35 PM I've seen this discussed many times. I prefer to use the location as it was at the time of the event. Searching the archives, most responded that they show the current location in Notes. I'm currently entering family who settled in Portsmouth, RI, in 1638 - starting out with my ancestor who had 14 children. I must add the current location for these parents and their children - and then their descendants until the State of Rhode Island was formed. It seems there must be an easier way. Any thoughts?
