Brian, I have taken a look at the Help Files for customising search strings, and actually I think that they are pretty good. The starting point is to go to the site for which you wish to enter a search into Legacy, and enter the details for someone for whom you have comprehensive details and enter these into the search box on the site.
Having found the person, very carefully examine the URL and look for the positioning of the search criteria which you entered, if they are not there then the site is not using a coding which can easily be used by Legacy to search. Assuming it can, copy the URL to your (Windows) clipboard, and follow the help files to enter and save your parameters. It is easier to describe if you supply the name of the site for which you which to create a Legacy search. Indeed. it is quite likely that someone has already done it, and will be happy to supply the string. I have read the Legacy Help(all pages)several times but its very confusing to me. I can enter a particular web site so it comes up, but can't understand how to have it display an individuals data, name, vitals to do a search. Setting up the search string is confusing me. I would appreciate advise on setting this up properly.
