Any way to leave the notes open and enter data? This is mainly a Windows thing: the difference between Modal and Modeless dialogs. A Modal dialog, which is what the vast majority of all dialogs on all products, are, effectively blocks the main window from which it is launched. On the other hand, a Modeless dialog effectively runs in parallel with the main window, allowing you to switch back and forth and work with either of them. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
