Good question, Julia!  I hadn't quite gotten that far yet in using the tool!
Since the marriage facts and events show up in the individual's source window, I
would think the logic is there somewhere to be used to check for the "census"
event attached to the individual & their marriage(s).

In a discussion on our test list about the new census search/list tool
the programmer indicated he is looking at ways of searching for people
who already have census events. (I presume for the option to exclude
people who appear to have been found) In that he said "I am working on
ways to see if the person has already been found in a particular census.
  This will include:
Event names (both individual and marriage)
Event dates
Sources
