I am hopeless disorganized in this regard. Mostly because my main Cuz is
the one who does most of the research lately.

I did use LTools some time ago to start making a To-Do List and gave up
after I had entered over 50,00O to-do's. Because, you know, it gets kind
of ridiculous with the average life span of 80 years or so and I'm
already well on my way to the end of it. I have to go back and tick off
the ones that are done because I never really look at my to-do lists. Duh.

I was thinking, when I read of people using spreadsheets, that this
might work quite well using MindMeister which in online mind-mapping.
You can add a URL and then notes next to it. Everything is in one place
so you don't duplicate your efforts and you can refer to it easily to
see what you last did. It does handle notes quite well and attachments.
And there it is right in your browser so you don't have to open another
program, just switch tabs.

Although if you keep your spreadsheet in Google Docs that would be about
the same. Never have understood, so far, people's fascination with
spreadsheets.

The other recommendation, due to disappearing URL's would be Zotero, a
plugin for Firefox. You take snapshots of pages and keep them, add
notes, citations, etc. Very handy tool.

The other one somewhat similar is Scrapbook, another Firefox plugin.
Save entire pages and also has annotation and combining, folder
organizing, etc.

That's way off what you're asking which is how to use the forms and
incorporate them into Legacy. Well, I notice that To-Do's in Legacy have
an option for File ID. If I was using any 'forms', which I'm not, I
would put them into the MRIN folders where I have everything else for
each marriage and then I'd know where the forms are so I could avoid
duplication that way.

You may find another use for the File ID's as far as where things are.
