I have a friend who swears by using Evernote for her online searches, positive or negative. She is an excellent genealogist and has it synced to her phone.

If I did that, I would be completely bogged down. Most of the stuff on my to-do list are records I have written off for. I may be wrong but I think what Tim was addressing was how to keep track of the random online browsing moments. I do that as well. I have an Individual or Family screen open for reference and do searches online leading to who knows where or what. I try to keep track of these so I do not keep repeating the same search over and over. Of course I record what I need to do in a ToDo list for follow on research. Maybe this isn't the best approach but it's what I do.
