Hi Jim,
When recommending an export into a Gedcom and then import the Gedcom I feel it
would be well to advise choosing the settings carefully as data can be lost.
It could be those needing to be told this procedure are less aware of potential
trouble as I was years ago and subsequently lost all [[data]] and 'private' and
'living' individuals.

Bob,

There are several glitches that may popup in the family file from time to time.
They can often be fixed by doing a Check and Repair of the family file. First,
backup your family file, or if it won't backup, then make a copy of it..

Next, please click on File on the menu bar and select File Maintenance >
Check/Repair and proceed with the repair. If any error messages occur during
the Check/Repair process, click No in the error message box so that the repair
steps can finish. Do Check/Repair twice if errors are found.

If the program is still gives you errors, export your records into a GEDCOM
file and then import the GEDCOM back into a new family file in Legacy. Use the
new family file.

Please let us know how it goes.
