Make sure that one does NOT have a PDF driver set as the default printer, as 
this can create issues with many programs.

And if there is NO printer installed and set as the default, Windows MAY have 
it set to the "Generic" printer, which is a plain text  driver to send files 
to, to make text files.

It is a bug because:
1. It does not always happen.  It is intermittent.
2. It is a bad design choice in that whether one has a printer or not should 
not affect screen view.
3. Reboot of Legacy, not the OS, makes the problem go away.
