And they should. It's not the hardware manufacturers who deal with security but software developers
One of the reasons that Microsoft has done all this extra security in Windows is because people haven't taken responsibility for "safe computing" - before Windows and security software issued "automatic updates", no one updated even! And yet we're still plagued by viruses, spams and malware.... Probably because with all the work they do to prevent this, there are still lots of security holes in Windows, Java, Adobe, etc....
