Ron - Designating someone as a candidate for a relationship is common practice in gen research - and having the ability to include that info in the software in a standardized format can be helpful to the serious genealogist. Where I have seen that option in gen software, there is little chance of confusion or misunderstanding.
Depending upon the level of user interest of course, certainly a valid suggestion.
