Joey,
If you're just looking for counts, this is how I do it.
1) Clear tag1 for use in this process
2) Highlight the common ancestor like a great grandfather
3) Tools>Set Relationships to have Legacy compute his connections
4) Set tag1 for all of his descendants
4) Search>Detailed Search for Tag1 Equal To Tagged then Create List
5) Click Print (bottom of Search Results list)
6) Check the fields you want but include a custom field for Relshp
7) Set Report Destination to "CSV file" then click Create
8) Open the CSV file with a spreadsheet program like Excel
9) Use the Filter options to count the various relationships

My grandfather has

 10 Daughters

 32 Granddaughters
 85 Great-Granddaughters
142 2nd Great-Granddaughters
 32 3rd Great-Granddaughters

  7 Sons
 30 Grandsons
106 Great-Grandsons
192 2nd Great-Grandsons

 34 3rd Great-Grandsons

To get count for each generation, more spreadsheet work or some simple math.
You might also use some reporting with sub-totaling.

Subject: [LegacyUG] How many individuals are in each generation?

Hello!

My name is Joey and I am having a family reunion on July 20, 2013. My
father purchased the Deluxe Edition of the Legacy Family Tree and has
asked me to input all the information so we can have a booklet printed
for everyone. I hope you can help me out. The tree starts with my
great-grandparents who had 15 children and I believe there are 7 generations
total. We are
thinking of getting ribbons for each generation with each one having its own
color. How do I find out how many individuals are in each generation?

Thanks
