Thank you, Sherry. Your advice is well received and it appears that working with the Grant of License is the way to go. As long as we can simply access Legacy from both our desktop and laptop computers, that is our main aim.
Much obliged, Joyce. -----Original Message----- From: Sherry/Support [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, 3 August 2013 11:56 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] LEGACY ON TWO HOME COMPUTERS Joyce, The License.txt file, found in your c:\Legacy folder, states: 1. GRANT OF LICENSE. Millennia grants to you the right to use the enclosed Millennia program (the SOFTWARE). You may install it on more than one computer (such as a laptop) as long as there is no chance of more than one copy being used at the same time. Two people can work in the same Family File at the same time, but you could run into some conflicts causing problems.
