Kathy:

It may be doing that; I don't know. Would you explain further and in more
detail?

Is it showing you the parents of the preferred child according to the line of
decent you may have set?

There is an asterisk. That is why I don't understand what is happening.

If you navigate from a 1/2 child to you, you should see that child’s motheras
your wife. Otherwise you should see the preferred wife.

To mark a wife as preferred, you need to do more than just selecting her inthe
‘wives of...’ window. You need to click on the ‘Set to Preferred’ button atthe
bottom left of the window. Make sure there is an asterisk next to her in the‘P’
column.

LUGgers:

I have my third wife marked as preferred (I haveselected her, saved and
closed). But when I come back to my family screen,my first wife's information
is displayed.
What am I not doing to change it. I had twochildren with my first wife and
the children with the second and third wives are1/2 children (i.e., I am not
the father although I wish I was. They treatme better than mine do.); is this
the problem or is it something elseentirely?
