Lavern,

Take a deep breath. I’m sure it’s still there. A question.......

When you say ‘all of the data’ do you mean you can’t bring up any data, or have
you just lost a few days? If nothing is coming up at all, it’s likely that
Legacy has just lost ‘the what file do I open’ when I open up the program. Go
to Options à Customize à General tab what does it say for ‘Starting Family
File’?

I just looked at mine and it says ‘open last used family file automatically’. I
always had this set to ‘Always open this file’ and that setting is gone. Just
did the update to .268, sometimes these updates lose settings. Hopefully you
just need to set this as appropriate.

Let us know how it goes.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Lost data!

Hello everyone,

I am trying not to panic, but it

seems that all of the data I

entered has disappeared and

I don't have any idea why. I'm

on v 7.5 and have my family
file hooked up with Dropbox.

Before I'm told to go to my

last backup, I'll fess up and

say while I usually back up

daily, I my last backup was two
days ago. Dropbox still should
have all of the work I did, right?

Help would be appreciated. TIA
