Let us be clear. LDS is the abbreviation for the Mormon Church, and unless you 
are a member, checking it will do absolutely nothing for you.

However, they do collect genealogy data which is open to everyone through 
Family Search.

Legacy enables direct access to this via the FS check box, and you will find 
family trees compiled by members and the general public. This is similar to 
Ancestry et al, and is claimed to be more accurate. It does not give access to 
LDS data.
