Belinda, They are there for me, so there is not a basic problem.
If you have tried the suggestions made by Kathy and Cathy and you still have problems, I would suggest using the Reset Button on the bottom right and try again, ensuring, of course, that the boxes which you need are checked. [Notes] is no longer in the Event Sentence Definition. You include Notes or not depending on the setting in Report Options - Include Tab - Event Options button. In the Events themselves there are checkboxes if you want to include notes. They should be checked by default. Why the change? I never worked it out. It's supposed to be easier apparently. If so I'll report it as a bug, but if it is just me I may have altered a setting somewhere without realising it. Although what that setting may be, I don't know. I use this feature extensively but now in V8 the events are listed in the reports but the notes have been stripped out. On example I found had a few blank lines and then the source citation number. Most of the others stripped the lot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Belinda Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
