Seems unusual that the default would be with a period after the day of the
month "21. Nov 1953"  and the old format which is standard "21 Nov 1953" is not
option anymore on the program.  Hope this will be restore with a new update, as
"21. Nov 1953"  is not as far as I know is useful or standard.  Is there a
reason for the "21. Nov 1953" format.  Ancestry and FamilySearch use the old
format.  What does "gbl" stand for?  I see it throughout the program.

Thanks for your help.

Darryl

Darryl,
Options > Customize > Dates

5.1 Dates Displayed As (gbl)
Uncheck the box that says "Format day with period"

When I converted several files to Legacy 8 from 7.5 when ever there was a day
in the month it puts a "." after the day.  For example
12. Mar 1888
