I've never seen the words "primary" and "minor" used in such a context.
  I presume you entered one as a Vital Event (Christening)  in the upper
part of the screen and the other as an Event/Fact which you might have
called Alt Baptism or Alt Christening or just Baptism.

You can search for for someone with  Christening information or an Event
named Alt Baptism or whatever you called it, or search for someone with
entries in both fields.
