I think it's purely a matter of personal choice - I captured the last
living Toshiba laptop over here with Win 7 on it as I had heard all the
problems with Win 8. I am sure Legacy will work on both but I didn't want
yet another major learning curve - which is what Win 8 seems to be after
having "played" with my cousin's computer. I understand that 8.1 has
relieved some of the major complaints, such as no Start button, but I would
rather concentrate on the new Legacy before ever having to tackle Win 8 as
well. Personal thoughts only.
